It has been revealed that a thermal generator on the set of a Netflix series was replaced by an electro-hydrogen generator in France last May (2021), powering a lighting system designed to reproduce the effects of a full moon.
The EODev GEH2®, proposed by Eneria was tested by the technical means provider, TSF, was placed on the back of a truck, which also carried 44kg of compressed hydrogen, making the unit completely mobile to follow the film crew around the park in Château de Courances.
Over 12 hours at full power, EODev estimate the unit offers potential saving of nearly 700kg of carbon dioxide emissions, compared to the use of a diesel unit.
