NEOM has relocated its headquarters to its project site 170km from Tabuk, Saudi Arabia to accelerate the pace of development.
The Saudi Arabian region is being built from the ground as a living laboratory and a vision of what a new future might look like.
It also has an ambition to become the world’s largest producer and exporter of green hydrogen, chemicals and fuels through dedicated partnerships and alliances.
The move comes as progress onsite continues to pick up speed. Since last year, NEOM has reached a number of key milestones, including announcing an agreement with Air Products and ACWA Power to construct a $5bn world-scale hydrogen-based ammonia production facility powered by renewable energy, scheduled to be onstream in 2025.
