A year-and-a-half after his appointment as CEO of NEOM Green Hydrogen Company (NGHC), David Edmondson will return to Air Products with Wesam Y.Alghamdi taking up the management reins.
Edmondson will return to Air Products by January 1, 2024, after leading the development of the NEOM plant in collaboration with NGHC shareholders including ACWA Power, Air Products, and NEOM.
Alghamdi will bring over 25 years of cross-function senior leadership in engineering, operations, and project management in diverse industry segments with Maaden, Sabic and Shell, and the appointment reflects the desire to elevate Saudis to senior leadership positions in line with the Kingdom’s Saudisation programme and Vision 2030.
