Norwegian-based hydrogen technology company Nel ASA has received a €34m (£30m) order from HH2E for 120MW of electrolyser equipment.
The two companies, which signed a Letter of Intent (LoI) in January (2023), have now tied down a firm contract for the supply of alkaline electrolyser equipment.
HH2E is planning to deploy hydrogen projects in Germany, such as the HH2E Lubmin in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, where hydrogen productions will begin by 2025 and then scaled up by 2030.
