Nel looks set to supply German-based green energy company HH2E with up to 120MW of electrolyser capacity.
Norwegian electrolyser manufacturer Nel revealed today (January 6) it has agreed with HH2E for a front end engineering and design (FEED) study and a Letter of Intent (LoI) for two 60MW electrolyser plants in Germany.
According to the two companies, HH2E’s electrolyser plants will be among the ‘largest’ green hydrogen production facilities in Europe announced to date and could be expanded in the future as HH2E looks to establish 4GW of electrolyser capacity in Germany by 2030.
