Nel Hydrogen ASA has been granted $5.6m in funding to accelerate the development of advanced PEM electrolyser stacks.
The Nel ASA subsidiary received the funding from the US Department of Defence (DoD), with additional funds being leveraged for the scale up of advanced materials and processes.
By accelerating PEM electrolyser stack developments, Nel will enable low-cost hydrogen storage and resiliency applications, collaborating with the Engineer Research and Development Centre – Construction Engineering Research Laboratory (ERDC-CERL).
