Nel has expanded its electrolyser capacity at Herøya, Norway, a key element to deliver on its previously announced cost target of $1.5/kg of hydrogen, the hydrogen technology company confirmed in its third quarter 2021 results today (Oct 21).
In expanding its electrolyser capacity, Nel is capable of meeting the increasing demand for the hydrogen production technology in the future.
This could situate the group at the forefront of the hydrogen economy.
