Nel ASA has entered into a strategic agreement with the Kværner to collaborate on green hydrogen projects and the standardisation of solutions for large scale hydrogen production plants.
The two Norwegian companies have already initiated the standardisation process, with basis in a 20-megawatt module which will work as a building block for plants of several hundred megawatts, using specific projects as a basis.
“We’re happy to enter into this collaboration agreement with Kværner, who has extensive experience from large projects all over the world,” said Jon André Løkke, CEO of Nel.
“As we see projects growing in size and complexity, it’s important to have a strong partner such as Kværner, both for standardising large-scale green hydrogen production facilities, and also build them.”
