Nel electrolyser technology will continue to produce life sustaining oxygen onboard US Navy submarines through a new $5.4m deal announced today (9th Nov).
Raytheon Technologies’ Collins Aerospace Division has ordered PEM electrolyser cell stacks from Nel Hydrogen US that will produce critical life support oxygen for US Navy crews on multiple classes of nuclear-powered submarines.
The purchase order is part of an ongoing contract between the US subsidiary of Nel ASA and Collins Aerospace.
