Nel ASA has today (July 23) said it will provide a MW-scale PEM electrolyser to the PosHYdon project, which aims to validate the integration of offshore hydrogen, wind and natural gas, offshore the Netherlands
A landmark project, PosHYdon will investigate the three energy systems and see the installation of the hydrogen production plant on the Nepture Energy-operated Q13a-A latform.
The Q13a-A is the first fully electrified platform in the Dutch North Sea and will convert seawater into demineralised water, then into green hydrogen via electrolysis.
