Nel Hydrogen Electrolyser, a division on Nel ASA, has been awarded a NOK 16m (€1.5m) grant from the Research Council of Norway.
Announced today, the grant will fund a research project which seeks to further improve the efficiency and cost of Nel’s next generation, pressurised alkaline electrolyser platform.
Improvements made to the stack are expected to further support realisation of large-scale electrolyser opportunities through lower total cost of ownership for Nel’s customers.
“We are very excited to receive the support of the Norwegian Research Council for this project,” said Marius Bornstein, Technology Manager in Nel Hydrogen Electrolyser.
