Nedstack’s fuel cell system receives AiP for maritime applications

Nedstack has received an Approval in Principle (AiP) from Bureau Veritas for its PemGen® 600 containerised hydrogen fuel cell system for maritime applications.

The AiP validates the compliance of Nedstack’s system design with the testing, inspection and certification firm’s NR467 classification rules for fuel cell power systems onboard a ship, taking it a step closer to setting sail.

With plans to continue working closely, Nedstack and Bureau Veritas will continue along the classification and certification process to ensure the high safety and performance standards are met.
