Nedstack Fuel Cell Technology and HyGear will develop a flexible hydrogen filling station with electric charging capabilities for off-grid locations for Strukton Civiel Noord & Oost as part of a new partnership.
The Netherlands-based companies today (4th Jan) announced the partnership through which an off-grid filler-charger system will be develop and tested to refuel fuel cell electric vehicles and battery-powered vehicles without connection to the electricity grid.
As part of its role in the agreement, Nedstack will develop the fuel cell system to produce electricity for fast charging while Strukton Civiel Noord & Oost will design the overall filling/charging station.
HyGear will leverage its experience in steam methane reforming to generate hydrogen for the filling station as well as the fuel cell system, where it is converted to power for fast charged.
