NanoSUN and IIT Hydrogen Bolzano have teamed up to explore deploying the UK firm’s hydrogen refueller solution in Italy.
Under a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) will look to combine expertise to develop a strategic roadmap for the adoption of hydrogen within mobility.
Coming less than a year after NanoSUN announced it would explore hydrogen refuelling opportunities in Europe, Italy has dedicated €230m ($242m) to establish a national network of hydrogen refuelling stations, with 36 planned to be operational in 2026.
