The Chairman of Hydrogen Oman (Hydrom) has announced the signing of multiple green hydrogen projects to be developed across Oman.
The agreements include six projects located near Duqm or Salalah ports, requiring an installed capacity of approximately 15GW of renewable energy, which are expected to produce over 700,000 tonnes of green hydrogen.
The signings were agreed with bp Alternative Energy Investments for a project in Duqm and Dhofar, Green Energy Oman (GEO), Green Hydrogen and Chemicals SPC, Hyport Duqm consortium and SalalaH2 consortium.
