The Heating and Hotwater Industry Council (HHIC) and UK boiler manufacturers have said they will support any future UK Government legislation which mandates all new models of domestic boilers to be “hydrogen-ready” from 2025.
Such support was confirmed today (1st March), as part of a commitment which is thought to be several years ahead of similar action being proposed within the EU.
The announcement follows Worcester Bosch’s plea for the government to set a mandate that by 2025, all new boilers on sale should be hydrogen-ready.
