Mitsui E&S has completed the construction of a hydrogen gas supply facility at its factory in Tamano, Japan, as it plans to launch its hydrogen business.
Usually, the production base for Mitui’s products including marine diesel engines and industrial machinery, the Tamano factory is now also home to a facility capable of supplying up to 1,000Nm3/h of hydrogen gas.
The company plans to use the facility to supply large marine engines – with output of 7MW – with hydrogen, as part of a Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism alongside Daihatsu Diesel Co.
