A new collaboration will see an expansion of hydrogen storage in salt caverns across the eastern side of the United States to boost decarbonisation efforts.
This comes with the signing of an agreement between Mitsubishi Power Americas and Texas Brine Company on Wednesday (May 12) that will see development of large-scale long-duration hydrogen storage solutions.
Both have identified hydrogen storage as a key enabling technology for the transition to a net zero carbon energy future.
