Mitsubishi Corporation and Amogy have established a strategic partnership to focus on ammonia cracking technology in large-scale hydrogen carrier applications.
Initially focusing on east Asia, and in particular Japan and South Korea, the joint study will commence this month (December) with SK Innovation. It will assess a large-scale deployment of Amogy’s technology.
The deployment will include analysis of costs across the value chain and explore opportunities for market expansion across the ammonia and hydrogen supply chain. Once completed, the three companies will look to explore joint pilot opportunities in the strategic regions.
