Metacon has signed an agreement with a Kempten, Germany wastewater treatment plant to demonstrate biogas-to-green hydrogen production.
Under the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Abwasserverband Kempten (Allgäu) (AVKE), Metacon looks to supply a mid-size HHG hydrogen generator at the plant to see fossil-free hydrogen produced from biogas.
Set to run continuously, the company has said its generators can produce approximately 110kg of hydrogen per day at only 1/5 off the fully scaled HHG, which could see capacity of over 500kg per day.
