Meritor is set to deliver its Blue Horizon 14Xe ePowertrain to Hexagon Purus to provide power for the company’s hydrogen fuel cell electric vehicles in North America.
In providing this new technology, Hexagon Purus will be provided an ePowertrain that will support its hydrogen mobility development and provide significant technological advantages over contemporary diesel trucks.
With this, Purus will implement the powertrain in two different hydrogen fuel cell truck variants (Class 6 and 7) with the company clearly seeing this technology as key in providing the best driving experience for heavy-duty vehicles.
