French electrolyser OEM McPhy Energy has secured a firm contract to supply a 4MW electrolyser to a Swedish food oil producer.
Malmö-headquartered AAK plans to use the electrolyser system to renew its equipment at its manufacturing plant in Sweden and move to using low-carbon hydrogen produced as a process gas.
The new contract will see McPhy supply a 4MW alkaline McLyzer 800-30 to the Swedish firm, with commissioning expected in Q2 2025.
