When H2 View spoke to Parisian taxi firm Hype last month, we were told about its plans to build what it says will be the world’s biggest hydrogen station. Now, the hydrogen mobility pioneer has inked a new deal with McPhy to support its mission, other withstanding projects and those to come.
The French duo on Tuesday (Dec 14) signed a strategic partnership, through which McPhy said it will supply Hype with a 2MW-4MW alkaline electrolyser and an 800kg/day hydrogen station, with more orders expected to follow.
Already eyeing up what the future could bring, a recent statement from McPhy said future orders could include up to 50 hydrogen stations and 15MW-25MW electrolysers by the end of 2025. With this, McPhy will be named Hype’s preferred partner for the supply of electrolysers.
