Malaysia’s first hydrogen bus service in operation

Sarawak’s capital city Kuching has today launched South-east Asia’s first hydrogen bus service, local Malaysian news has reported.

According to malaymail, the city’s three hydrogen buses will operate daily from 6am to 6pm starting tomorrow and will serve a route which both starts and ends at Kuching Waterfront at Jalan Main Bazaar.

Manufactured by Foshan Feichi Automobile Manufacture, the buses can each accommodate up to 30 passengers with a driving range of 300 kilometres.

After riding the hydrogen buses, Sarawak Chief Minister Datuk Abang Johari Openg, told Malaysian press that commuters are able to use the H2 SarawakApp to track the buses that are in service.
