German auto supplier Mahle is set to investigate new fuel cells and zero-emission engines at its new €2m ($2.4m) test centre in Stuttgart, Germany, dedicated to hydrogen research.
The test centre’s activities will focus on developing drive systems and components for heavy-duty commercial vehicles with Mahle believing that hydrogen in fuel cells and combustion engines is an important contribution to sustainable transportation.
