The Midwest Alliance for Clean Hydrogen (MachH2) has submitted a full application to the US Department of Energy (DOE) to develop a clean hydrogen production and distribution hub (H2Hub).
The project will be funded under the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act (IIJA) and is backed by a bipartisan group of Midwestern legislators and Governors.
Following MachH2’s initial concept paper bid last year, it received a letter of encouragement from the DOE before joining forces with the Indiana-led Midwest Hydrogen Corridor Consortium as a single hub.
