Mabanaft has signed an agreement with tugboat operator Fairplay Towage Group to supply hydrogen for its new tugs in the Port of Hamburg from 2025.
Fairplay intends to add tugboats capable of running on hydrogen to its fleet in the Port of Hamburg in the coming years as it looks to clean up its operations.
The Mabanaft Group, as a supplier of marine fuels and operator of tank terminals in the German port intends to supplement its range of fuels with hydrogen and to use its tank terminals in order to supply Fairplay with hydrogen.
