Loop Energy has today (August 1) revealed it has secured a supply contract for its fuel cells for a hydrogen-electric bus project in South Korea, marking its second project in the country.
Secured through its South Korean distributor NGVI Inc., the contract will see Loop supply its fuel cells to the two-year government project in the county of Ulju, led by KAR Co. which plans to put a hydrogen-powered bus into operation.
The bus is planned to operate in Ulju-gun, located within the Ulsan hydrogen hub, with the pilot project set to be completed in 2024.
