ACWA Power will receive support from LONGI Hydrogen to deliver the first phase of a large-scale hydrogen production project in Uzbekistan.
Expected to produce 3,000 tonnes per year of hydrogen and reduce carbon emissions of up to 136,000 tonnes, the project will utilise LONGI ALK electrolyser stacks in the initial phase.
Once the second phase is complete, H2 View understands the project will boast 2.4GW of wind energy to power the production of 500,000 tonnes of green ammonia annually.
