Clean energy solutions provider Logan Energy is now responsible for the entire hydrogen production, distribution and refuelling process for the Belfast Bus Project in Northern Ireland.
The company’s pivotal role in the project is a result of three significant contract wins secured throughout the year, helping to drive Northern Ireland’s transition to a low-carbon economy and meet net zero targets.
As part of its first contract win, Logan Energy was selected to design and install a hydrogen station in Belfast to support the rollout of three hydrogen buses. The company was also commissioned by Energia Group to supply three hydrogen tube trailers, and then selected by Areva H2Gen to integrate, operate and maintain a 1Mw electrolyser.
