Liquid Wind is seeking funds to accelerate the development of its first eFuel production facility, to produce liquid eMethanol from captured carbon dioxide and green hydrogen.
The Swedish company today (27th Nov) said that, in partnership with the Crowdfunding platform FrontFundr, it aims to raise €1m to develop, build and manage the eFuels facility to meet the growing demand for liquid renewable fuel.
In total, Liquid Wind is planning to have 500 facilities by 2050, providing 25 million tonnes of fuel and preventing the emissions of 50 million tonnes of carbon dioxide, every year.
245 crowdfunders have invested over €0.5M in the company to date, during the companies previous European crowdfunding rounds.
