LINE Hydrogen has received development approval for its 7.6MW green hydrogen production, storage and distribution facility in Tasmania, Australia.
Planned for George Town, Tasmania, the project plans to produce around 1.2 tonnes of hydrogen per year, powered by a co-located solar farm currently under construction, to be made available for mobility and energy applications.
The George Town Council on Tuesday (June 27) approved the proposal and development application unanimously, seeing the date for construction start set for late 2023 or early 2024.
