Liberty has become the first electric utility to join the California Fuel Cell Partnership (CaFCP).
Engaged in renewables, including the advancement of hydrogen, Liberty provides water, wastewater, gas and electric services to more than 800,000 customers in communities across the US.
This wealth of utility experience will provide additional perspective to help advance the CaFCP’s efforts.
Formed in 1999, the CaFCP is an industry-government collaboration aimed at expanding the market for fuel cell electric vehicles (FCEVs) powered by hydrogen to help create a cleaner, more energy-diverse future with zero emission vehicles.
