Lhyfe’s offshore hydrogen production pilot platform Sealhyfe has completed its initial objectives in its first 14 months.
Equipped with a 1MW Plug Power electrolyser, the platform is designed to demonstrate that producing hydrogen offshore via renewable energy is feasible.
Using a range of measurement and data collection technology installed onboard Sealhyfe, precise management and control of all the production unit was ensured from September 2022 to November 2023, first at the quayside and then at sea.
