Germany is set to gain hydrogen solutions for its railway network with Lhyfe supplying Deutsche Bahn with an electrolyser to fuel a hydrogen-powered train for the H2goesRail project.
Lhyfe has selected a Green Hydrogens Systems electrolyser, with an annual capacity of 30 tonnes, to support the implementation of hydrogen-powered trains to the German railway network.
This could be a significant development for the nation with the railway network seen as a key area to decarbonise to support the EU and Germany’s net zero emission targets for the future.
