In a step towards developing green hydrogen production capacity in Europe, Plug Power has today (September 8) revealed it has received an order for 50MW of PEM electrolysers from French-based Lhyfe, to be installed across multiple plants.
The order for ten 5MW PEM electrolyser systems will see up to 20 tonnes of hydrogen produced per day and will be used to serve mobility applications in Europe, including forklifts and light commercial vehicles, according to the companies.
H2 View understands Lhyfe will deliver hydrogen produced from the Plug systems to supply the Master Van from Hyvia, Plug’s joint venture with Renault.
