LG Chem and KIST have declared a new joint development to explore carbon neutral breakthrough technologies, including research into green hydrogen, with a new memorandum of understanding (MoU).
The MoU will focus on the research and development (R&D) into relevant technologies for reducing carbon emissions such as carbon capture utilisation (CCU) and hydrogen energy.
The two institutes will jointly develop hydrogen technologies which explore the production of green hydrogen without carbon-emissions, production of safe hydrogen using compounds and the utilisation of raw materials and thermal/electric energy.
