Emerging energy firm Leigh Creek Energy says it can produce 200 million kilograms (kg) of hydrogen a year at less than $1 per kg.
The South Australia-based company’s announcement comes in response to the Australian Government’s desire to manufacture hydrogen at less than $2 per kg – the point at which the government thinks hydrogen will compete with alternatives in large-scale deployment across our energy system.
