Wrightbus’ Ballymena hydrogen-powered bus manufacturing facility has been labelled an “electrifying experience” by the Labour Party’s Shadow Secretary of State for Northern Ireland, Peter Kyle.
Kyle met Wrightbus’ newly appointed Chief Executive Jean-Marc Gales and was given the opportunity to tour the factory and hear about the technologies used in delivering zero-emission buses, such as the ‘world’s first’ hydrogen double deck bus.
Kyle is Labour MP for Hove, which will utilise 20 of Wrightbus’ hydrogen vehicles for Brighton & Hove buses, for operation on its Metrobus Fastway route 10 serving Crawley, Gatwick Airport and Horley.
