Marine SMEs Krensen, Trident Marine Electrical and ACUA Ocean haveannounced a new partnership to develop marine hydrogen powertrain solutions.
The tie up will bring together Krensen’s expertise in electric and hybrid marine propulsion technologies, Trident’s experience in electrical engineering and automation and ACUA’s UK patent-pending hydrogen technology.
The partnership is supported by funding from the UK Clean Maritime Demonstration Completion Round 2 (CMDC2), launched in May 2022 and funded by the Department for Transport and delivered in partnership with Innovative UK.
