Norwegian-based Kongsberg Gruppen has successfully tested and verified a new hydrogen fuel cell powered drivetrain for ships and ferries in a “world’s first”.
Unveiled on Thursday (Dec 2), this new development is part of a wider programme labelled HySeas that is aiming to showcase a scalable hydrogen-based system for ships and ferries.
