Kent to deliver detailed engineering studies for EET’s hydrogen production plant

Turkish engineering procurement and construction (EPC) company ENKA has selected Kent to undertake the detailed engineering of the Essar Energy Transition (EET) Hydrogen production plant in Cheshire, UK.

Under the contract, the energy services provider Kent will help deliver the low-carbon hydrogen production plant (HPP1) at the Stanlow Manufacturing Complex in Ellesmere Port. Kent has previously helped deliver the early development phases of HPP1.

ENKA was awarded the EPC contract for the project earlier this month. Hakan Kozan, a Member of the Executive Committee from ENKA, claimed Kent’s “expertise and dedication” have been “invaluable throughout the development process.”
