The front-end engineering design (FEED) for EET Hydrogen’s planned 1GW HPP2 blue hydrogen production plant in the UK is set to be carried out by KBR.
EET (formerly Vertex Hydrogen), plans to establish the production site at the at Essar’s Stanlow Manufacturing Complex, utilising waste fuel gas and natural gas to produce hydrogen with carbon dioxide (CO2) captured and stored in Liverpool Bay.
Expected to produce around 230,000 tonnes of hydrogen annually, EET previously announced it had signed agreement for the supply of over 1GW’s worth of hydrogen.
