Hugoton, Kansas will soon be home to a new hydrogen production unit that will be used to operate a renewable diesel facility with a capacity of 6,500 barrels per day.
Engineered modular solutions company ENGlobal on Tuesday (June 15) reported that it had delivered the last of 24 process modules for the hydrogen unit for its customer Seabord Energy.
Now installed, the hydrogen unit marks the first in the US to utilise a proprietary efficient Haldor Topsoe Convection Reformer (HTCR™).
