Joule Processing, a leading process solution provider, has signed an exclusive partnership agreement today (May 18) with JTurbo Engineering and Technology to provide its twin-expander refrigeration technology for hydrogen liquefaction.
Joule will use this technology to bring an ultra-energy efficient hydrogen liquefaction plant to the market with this plant set to be the newest addition to the company’s suite of modular process systems.
The plants will liquify hydrogen to allow for transportation at near atmospheric pressure and temperatures below -400°F with a minimum specific energy consumption.
