A number of notable e-mobility industry leaders have urgently called for binding EU targets for charging points and hydrogen stations in a joint letter to the European Commission today (July 2).
Addressed to President von der Leyen, Vice-President Timmermans and Commissioner Vălean, the letter calls for strong EU regulation to replace the outdated Alternative Fuels Infrastructure Directive (AFID) with binding targets.
The joint letter has been signed by the ACEA, ChargeUp Europe, AVERE, IndustriAll, Europe-On, ABB, T&E, CEE GTI and Move EU.
