As green hydrogen production systems continue to be a focal point in scaling the hydrogen industry, Johnson Matthey has today (May 25) revealed it has invested €20m ($20m) into hydrogen pioneer Enapter.
Enapter, winners of the prestigious Earthshot Prize in 2021, is developing a next generation AEM electrolysis technology that could significantly drive down the cost of green hydrogen production.
The partnership will include collaborating on the joint development of advanced components for Enapter’s AEM stacks. Specialised catalysts will also be supplied, recognising Johnson Matthey’s undisputed expertise in catalysts.
