Johnson Matthey has been awarded for its Low Carbon Hydrogen (LCH™) technology at this year’s IChemE Awards.
The UK-based sustainable technologies company won the Energy Award at the annual event, which celebrates chemical, process and biochemical engineering excellence.
Utilised for the production of blue hydrogen, Johnson Matthey’s LCH™ process is capable of reducing the carbon emissions of a stream methane reforming process by up to 98%.
Jane Toogood, Sector Chief Executive at Johnson Matthey, said, “JM has a really exciting opportunity in the hydrogen space.”
