Hydrogen production specialist John Cockerill is supplying the Taiwanese semiconductor market with its 25MW electrolysers.
The company has received an order for five stacks of five-megawatts, each for a total capacity of 25megawatts, that will allow the transformation of water into ultra-high purity hydrogen at a pace of 5,000 Nm3/hour.
Partly fed from renewable energy, the electrolysers will prevent approximately 20,000 tonnes of carbon dioxide emissions annually.
Raphaël Tilot, Head of Renewables at John Cockerill, said, “With a total capacity of 34 megawatt already sold this year, we confirm our pole position on the green hydrogen market, especially in the field of large-scale electrolysers.”
