John Cockerill has announced plans to set up an electrolyser gigafactory in Morocco with hopes of developing the country’s hydrogen sector.
The company revealed it had reached an agreement to establish a joint venture to offer integrated green hydrogen solutions in the African country with an unnamed Moroccan energy firm.
Under the agreement, the joint venture will look to set up an alkaline electrolyser manufacturing plant, which the companies have said will be the first of its kind on the continent.
